What makes the Adande Saladette Unique?

adande saladette temperature zone

1. Unmatched Temperature Flexibility

While standard saladettes lock you into a single fridge temperature, Adande’s bottom drawer switches fully between fridge and deep freezer (-22°C to +15°C adjustable in 0.1°C increments). Chill salad garnish in the morning, or hold frozen dough and ice cream for evening service without swapping equipment.

2. Six pans wide on top. Zero compromise on plating space.

Top deck holds six 1/3 GN pans (up to 100mm deep) without eating into your prep area, a dedicated 342mm plating-up worktop sits alongside the wells as standard, with an 800mm-depth option (402mm plating space) available.

3. Engineered to outlast the competition

Built for high-volume service with drawer runners tested to 200,000 openings and hidden, heated magnetic seals that prevent wear and tear. Backed by an industry-leading 5-Year UK Major Parts Warranty.

4. Storage management & organisation

Complete the setup and get the most from your cold storage with Adande’s organisation options: GN pan racks that keep pans tidy on top while freeing up space for backup stock underneath, or drawer dividers that split the drawers into vertical sections for easier sorting.

Separate cooling storage on top

A single switch on top controls the GN pan space, pull backup garnish straight from the drawers below onto the tilted display as you need it. Packing down is just as simple: lid the pans in place, or switch the top section off and drop them into the drawers below for storage.

Chefs love the Adande saladette

At The White Horse in Brancaster Staithe, the kitchen builds every dish around what’s landed that morning, Norfolk crab, oysters, and the day’s catch, plated simply so the seafood does the talking. The Adande saladette sits right at the pass, holding delicate garnish and dressings at a precise, gentle chill while the drawers below keep bulk stock of fresh, local ingredients within arm’s reach. No walk-in runs mid-service, no compromise on quality, just cold storage exactly where the chefs need it.

ADANDE FRIDGE SALADETTE UNIT IN COMMERCIAL KITCHEN

How the Adande version compares

Compared to standard saladettes from brands like Williams, Sterling Pro, and True, the Adande stands apart on flexibility and lifespan rather than price. Williams’ SU-series and most Sterling Pro units run a single fixed fridge temperature, typically +1°C to +4°C, with no freezer function. True’s saladettes offer strong build quality but follow the same fixed-fridge format. The Adande Saladette is the only one of the four with a bottom drawer that switches fully between fridge and freezer (−22°C to +15°C), backed by a 5-year parts warranty against the 1–2 years typical of standard models.
