Adande gives a huge Thank You to the Craft Guild of Chefs
Receiving the Craft Guild of Chefs Company of the Year award is something the entire Adande team will treasure. But hearing the words behind the award, spoken by Andrew Green himself, made it mean even more.
“It's Adande that seems to have been the ones that have evolved and been more forward-thinking. Adande have really been at the forefront of innovation. And that's why, again, we've loved working with you guys.”
Andrew Green
More Than 15 Years in the Making
The Company of the Year award is presented to business partners who have shown significant support and meaningful involvement with the Craft Guild of Chefs over the past year. But in Adande’s case, the recognition reflects something far greater than a single year’s work.
Andrew Green noted that Adande’s partnership with the Craft Guild stretches back well over 15 years, a relationship built on consistent support, genuine involvement and a shared commitment to the culinary profession. As Andrew put it, year after year, the support from Adande has continued and that consistency is exactly what the award celebrates.
All Our Members Have Adande in Their Pockets
One of the things Andrew highlighted that clearly resonated with the Guild is Adande’s sponsorship of the membership card issued to every new Craft Guild member. It might sound like a small gesture, but as Andrew pointed out, it’s anything but.
Every chef who joins the Craft Guild of Chefs receives their membership card with the Adande logo on it. That means every new member, at the very start of their journey with the Guild, has Adande in their pocket. It’s a moment of connection between a brand and a culinary professional that begins before they’ve even stepped into their first sponsored event or seen an Adande unit in a kitchen.
For Adande, sponsoring that card has never been about visibility alone. It’s about backing the next generation of culinary talent and demonstrating a genuine commitment to the profession, not just the industry.
The Logo That Chefs Recognise
Andrew also spoke warmly about something that genuinely made the Adande team proud. Wherever he goes, he sees Adande refrigerators, and what strikes him is not just how frequently they appear, but how prominently the Craft Guild logo is displayed on every UK unit.
It’s not tucked away in a corner. It’s front and centre, a clear and confident statement that this equipment has been assessed and endorsed by the most respected chef association in the country. That kind of visibility reflects something Adande has always believed: that endorsement from the Craft Guild isn’t a badge to be hidden; it’s a mark of quality worth celebrating.
Refrigeration at the Forefront of Innovation
Perhaps the most meaningful part of Andrew’s words was his reflection on Adande as a company. He recalled first encountering an early Adande unit, the drawer design that seems almost obvious in hindsight, yet nobody had thought of before and noted that of all the companies the Guild works with, Adande has consistently been the one that evolves, pushes forward and thinks differently.
To be described as forward-thinking and at the forefront of innovation by someone with Andrew Green’s experience and standing in the culinary world is something we do not take for granted.
Thank You
To the Craft Guild of Chefs, to Andrew Green and to every chef and culinary professional who has trusted Adande in their kitchen over the past 15 years and beyond, thank you.
We look forward to many more years of working together, supporting the profession and continuing to earn the trust that makes recognition like this so special.
